Vice Principal's Message

Welcome to our 2022-2023 school year! It is an honor to introduce myself to you as the
Vice Principal of Westwind Colony Schools. I am very excited to be in this position, and
am looking forward to working with Mr. Peterson in making this a fantastic school year!
My choice to move into administration came from a strong aspiration to improve student
learning, support teachers and educational assistants, and connect with the 19 colony
schools in our division. As a classroom teacher, I had the opportunity each year to
positively impact my students and now I am delighted to have the opportunity to
positively influence all the Hutterite school communities in our division.
In my role as Vice Principal, I will hold the education of students in the highest regard. I
believe in meeting the needs of all students academically, socially, and emotionally.
Fostering a positive learning environment where students thrive is essential. I will work
diligently with teachers, parents, and colony members to ensure student success and to
prepare our colony students for their futures.
I look forward to working with all of you as we strive to improve student learning and
ensure that the colony students have what they need to succeed.
