Principal's Message

May Update!

Hello everyone!

We have come a long way and have been through a lot thus far this school year.   While there is anxiety surrounding us on all fronts regarding pandemics, new curriculum, and world-wide social justice initiatives and other issues, the one thing that remains constant is our care and concern for the colony students were have been entrusted to teach.  As we finish the school year, it is my hope that we can continue to love and connect with each of our precious students and to keep building those key relationships with our colony communities.  We will get through these adversities in the world and we will be better people for having endured it well.  It is my hope that we will not just “survive” but that we will in fact “thrive” in any trial or stressful situation we are faced with.

It continues to be an honour working with each one of you.  We have dedicated and hard-working teachers and education assistants in our 19 Westwind colony schools.  Keep the pace and we will get to the end of June finish line and hopefully have a restful summer to reset and be ready to face whatever new adventures come our way this Fall.

I appreciate each of you!
